ORNAMENTAL TURTLE

Created as part of the Beyond Walls Classroom to the Streets project in Lynn, Massachusetts, this mural celebrates the city’s cultural diversity and immigrant communities. At its center, a sea turtle, a migratory animal that travels long distances while carrying its home on its back, symbolizes migration, resilience, and protection. Surrounding flowers that represent the continents of America, Africa, and Asia. Vibrant colors and joyful details convey energy, hope, and the warmth of a community open to the world.
